About the gallery

155a is a work in progress. Previously a studio space for food and still life photography, it began as an art gallery in November 2018 with a solo show of work by Gareth Brookes, graphic novelist, author and print maker. The space continues to evolve with a programme of exhibitions that supports both emerging and established London artists and collectives, sought mostly through word of mouth.

The space itself is a live/work building, formally a Victorian bakery, restored with reclaimed interior elements and blessed with lots of natural daylight.
